Training Course Terms and Conditions

Training course cancellation policy: Please inform us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend a course before the course date. If you are unable to attend you may substitute someone else free of charge or elect to have your copy of the GP Update Handbook posted to you. Alternatively, you can elect to have a refund subject to a cancellation fee expressed as a percentage of the course fee. Cancellation fees will apply as follows: 0% if over 10 weeks before the course date, 50% if 5 to 10 weeks before the course date or 100% if less than 5 weeks before the course date. If you do not let us know you cannot attend before the course date we will post your copy of the GP Update Handbook to you.

Primary Care Education LLP has NEVER had to cancel or postpone any course but reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any training course if it becomes necessary to do so. In the very unlikely event of this happening you will be notified as soon as possible and advised of alternative dates. If you are unable to attend any of the rescheduled dates, the cancellation policy in the paragraph above will apply. Primary Care Education LLP shall not be responsible for any other loss incurred by the customer as a result of a cancellation or reschedule.

Primary Care Education LLP reserves the right to deliver the course by video, video link, video stream or DVD and courier the GP Update Handbook to the address you used when booking. It is anticipated that this will only apply in instances where the authorities recommend or require the prevention of group gatherings. An example of this would be the Health Protection Agency recommending the prevention of gatherings in the event of a pandemic flu outbreak.

Changes to courses advertised: We reserve the right to amend the courses where it's unavoidable or to make other minor changes that may be necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.

Intellectual property: Course materials and The GP Update Handbook are copyright and may not be reproduced without permission. All intellectual property rights, including copyright, remain the sole property of Primary Care Education LLP and any copies made of the course materials or The GP Update Handbook will be an infringement of copyright unless agreed in writing in advance.

All information provided by Primary Care Education LLP is given in best faith and Primary Care Education LLP, its partners or its staff will not be held responsible for actions taken by the customer, any other individual or organisation as a result of the information provided during the training course or within The GP Update Handbook.

Receipt and directions: Your receipt, directions to the course venue and details about timing will be sent out within 10 days of our receiving your booking form and payment. If you have not received these 10 days before the course, please telephone to make sure payment has been received. The cost of lunch and refreshments is included in the course fees. Booking onto a course or ordering a handbook constitutes a contract between Primary Care Education LLP and yourself as an individual, you will be liable for payment of the fees and any receipt or invoice will be made out in your name.
